Maintenance Mechanic

Pay & shift: Not disclosed by the client — competitive, based on experience. Primarily days, with occasional nights/weekends and on-call availability. Some travel to other plants for construction projects may be required.

What you’ll do Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems at a feed mill facility — fabricating, welding, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing equipment. Understand the mill flow and schematics well enough to diagnose and replace parts with minimal direction, and keep the facility running to a preventive maintenance schedule.

Must-have

• 2+ years of experience with pellet mill/feed mill equipment
• MIG and Stick welding proficiency
• Forklift experience
• High school diploma or GED

Nice-to-have

• Vocational/trade school training
• Experience with CPM 7000 series equipment
• CMMS experience
• Control circuit troubleshooting and VFD installation experience

About the site A feed mill facility — expect a dusty environment with high heat or cold depending on season, and physical work (frequently lifting/pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs).
